FAQ: How do I download my CFS software?

Downloading your CFS software is quick and easy to do. Please use the following instructions or click on the video link to view the process.

Step 1: Go to www.taxtools.com , there is a menu bar at the top of the page. Select Downloads > Download Software. Here is the direct link: http://www.taxtools.com/dl_programs.aspx?dltype=full

Step 2: A list of programs will be shown, find the program you are looking for and click the Download link to the right of it. The website will not prompt you for your firm information at this time. You will be required to enter your information during the installation process.

Step 3: A dialog box should appear asking you to RUN or SAVE the file. Either option will provide you with the program. Running it will put the installer file in a temporary folder whereas saving the file will allow you to keep it for later use. You may burn the installer to a CD, transfer it to a thumb/flash drive, or keep it on your computer.

Step 4: After the download finishes, run the installer.

Step 5: The install screen will look exactly the same as the CD version, at this point you will need to enter your firm information and license code. If you do not have your license code, don't worry. Simply go to www.taxtools.com and select the License Code Verification link on the main page. Step 6: After the install is finished you may be prompted to restart your computer before using the program.
